Why add sea kelp to your pet’s diet?

Sea kelp can help supply iodine when your pet’s diet doesn’t already provide enough. For example, some homemade or raw diets may include meat, bones and organs but still need an additional source of this essential mineral.

Thrive Sea Kelp provides naturally occurring iodine to support normal thyroid function, along with nutrients that may support digestion, immune health, and healthy skin and coat.

Already feeding a complete and balanced food? Additional kelp may be unnecessary. Check your food’s ingredients and consult your veterinarian before supplementing, as too much iodine can also affect thyroid health. Kelp alone does not make a homemade diet complete and balanced.

Dosage:

10 lbs – 1/16 tsp
20 lbs – 1/8 tsp
40 lbs – 1/4 tsp
60 lbs – 1/2 tsp
80 lbs – 3/4 tsp
100 lbs – 1 tsp

Warnings
Do not add to food that already include kelp, or another source of iodine. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use in animals with thyroid disease and not for long term use, unless directed by a veterinarian. Store out of direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. No refrigeration required.
